West Potomac High School kicked off its pre-winter break spirit week with Comfy Cozy Day. It encouraged students to come in their comfiest clothes to showcase their school spirit. A wide range of students, spanning all classes, came in their most comfortable attire today, despite the unexpected heat.

“I’m always cold so I’m comfortable,” says junior Liz Brodie.

Other students, however, didn’t fare through wearing their favorite fleece in this weather as well as others.

“I wore my onesie assuming it was going to be cold outside, but I walked outside [and] kinda started sweating, I was like, “no I might want to take that off”. But I will sweat for onesie day,” says senior Rachel Cooper.
It’s good to know that whatever the conditions, wolverines are always ready to show their school spirit. Hopefully the positive attitudes students had for today’s spirit day, will carry through for the rest of the week.
