On May 27th, 2025, The Boys Lacrosse team punched their ticket to the state tournament. They beat Alexandria City 11-4 on May 27th and will play their next game on Friday, May 30th, and they will go on to play Robinson at Robinson High School, at 5:30pm.   

The Boys team has had a rollercoaster ride of a season, after starting 0-2 with losses to James Madison and Langley, They caught fire and won five games in a row after that. They only lost 4 more games all season and finished off the year with a 13-6 record. They beat Alexandria City in the District Semifinals, then lost to Robinson in the District Finals. They went on to the Regional Quarterfinals, where they beat South County, and then defeated Alexandria City again, to send themselves to States. 

“It’s awesome,” Cayden Johnson, Sophomore, Varsity Lacrosse player said. “Now we can really win something big in this tournament.”
