On May 27th, 2025, The Girls Lacrosse team beat Justice 14-13 in the Region semifinals, and will play in the state tournament starting on May 30th. Their opponent will be Woodson on Friday, May 30th, at 7:30pm, at Robinson High School.
The Girls team got off to a rocky start, they lost their first two games, to Riverside, and James Madison, but they quickly got it together, and finished the year with an 11-6-1 record. They beat Fairfax 14-8 in the district quarterfinals, then they moved on to the district semifinals, where they won 11-7 against Woodson. They lost in the district finals 8-7 to Robinson, but they were able to win against South County and Justice in the Region tournament to get them to states.
“It’s very exciting,” Eloise Temple, Sophomore, Varsity Lacrosse player said. “We’re going to states, so it’s a pretty big deal.”
