Raphael- Class of 2016 "I wish we had more pep rallies in this school. I did the Senior-Faculty basketball game, but other than that though I just like to sit and chill and watch everyone else do the activities. I like pep rallies. I like marketing classes too. I'm in Sports Marketing right now and I like when I have to do research about certain sports-right now it's NBA play-offs and we have to document stats and stuff. Freshman me… I wish I took school more serious. I came to high school freshman year and it was a lot of freedom, and I kind of took advantage of it and fell behind and sort of slacked. To all freshmen: just stay on top of your game, you have four years." A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on May 5, 2016 at 10:09am PDT

Estée- Class of 2016 "(In personal finance) I learned a lot of life skills and financial skills. I love Mr. Beeby's integrity and the approach he takes towards the class. I've definitely matured a lot and my approach to school is definitely different from when I was 14 years old. I just take a lot of things more seriously and I don't take them for granted. I got older, and you learn from previous situations and you just try to capitalize on that and get a better result than the first time… I'm a little emotional. I'm going to miss this place, it's been good to me for the last 4 years." A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on May 5, 2016 at 1:54pm PDT

Class of 2018 "I think I'm a lot more mature now, and I think I see things from a different perspective.. I've realized a lot of things people would say about high school- about how it's really different than you think-that's how I view it now." Eric- Class of 2016 "When you get to class late and you have to go to your subschool, and it's on the opposite side of the school and you waste like 20 minutes of class time, that's pretty annoying. There was that one week where they did that over and over again… my 2nd period teacher does not like when people come in late, so I got screwed… I wish (West Potomac) didn't do it, because we're going to be late either way, and now we're just getting in trouble for it. It would be cool to be closer to Mr. Case because he's our principal and he's really nice, but I don't really see him a lot… I didn't really know Mr. Hardison, but Mr. Case seems really enthusiastic about being a principal."
