Lauren Williams, Class of 2018- "Um, my days been going pretty well. Um, I have a lot of finals due. Basically all my finals are projects and they just take a lot of time and a lot of energy. But, otherwise, they just- I like doing them because I like to show my creative side. It gives me a chance to show teachers my creativity." Hibisit Demilie, Class of 2018- "So my friends and I are doing a project called Transporting Wishes. We're trying to collect gently used or new school supplies to help children in Ethiopia. We're working with Rotary Club International to support Ethiopian children. There are boxes placed around school, there's in one in the main office and college career center. As well as, Springbank Room 503 and Room 203. This collection will go to the last day of school, the 23rd." A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on Jun 13, 2016 at 9:12am PDT

Okrah Opoku, Class of 2016- "One day I was going to my cousin's house and there's a basketball court on the way to his house. The rim is at nine feet, so we always play there. One day we were out dunking and I fell behind the back of the rim. My friend said my hand was bleeding and I looked down and there was glass in my hand. So, I pulled it out. And, that's how I got injured." A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on Jun 13, 2016 at 9:22am PDT
