“I thought it was very surprising honestly – I didn’t really expect Trump to win. I don’t really like the result. I think it’s a little bit intimidating but we’ll have to see what happens.” -Joey Haggerty (Junior) A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on Nov 14, 2016 at 11:29am PST

“I was really surprised when I woke up and saw that Donald Trump had won. It just wasn’t good. I was really shocked because I actually thought Hillary had a chance, that she would win. But I think that a lot of people underestimated Donald Trump and they overestimated the minorities that were supporting Hillary Clinton.” -Tetee Sumo (Senior) A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on Nov 14, 2016 at 11:30am PST

“I think the election was a little shocking, to say the least. I feel like the candidates were somewhat unprepared for certain events, but I do think in the end they handled it quite well. I have to give some respect for Hillary for saying that she will support Donald Trump. I think that’s a very courageous and admirable thing to do when you’re the loser of the presidential election.” -Ryan Thompson (Junior) A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on Nov 14, 2016 at 11:32am PST
