Wolverine Football Looks To Sweep Lee In Springfield
West Potomac Varsity Football takes on Robert E. Lee High School tonight on the road, looking to sweep the Lancers following last night’s JV and Freshman crushing wins over Lee, Freshman winning 52-14, and JV 64-0.
“The future looks good, young guys winning is a good sign for the future and the coaches are excited about it,” JT Mayo, West Po Varsity senior quarterback, said.
Varsity football enters the game at 1-3, and following a long bye-week, they are anxious to get back into the win column. It’s homecoming night in Springfield, and the Wolverines are looking to break some homecoming hearts.
“We would love to beat them on their homecoming, limiting turnovers tonight is going to be key,” Mayo said.
