Best Memory

  • “My favorite memory is the bus ride home from winning the district championship at West Springfield my freshman year. On the ride back to school we stopped for Sweet Frog and then went for a celebratory team diner at the fanciest choice: McDonald’s!”

Biggest Regret

  • “I believe this team could have won the district with all the talent we have. I was looking forward to all the bus rides and pre-game snacks, and of course, messing around with coaches and just overall having a fun time.”

Advice to Younger Players

  • “To the Juniors, you are the leaders now. Lead by example and always encourage your teammates. Asia, I’ll miss you dearly and our game day antics in P-fit; your best year has yet to come and I know you’ll be a star. Katie, keep hitting those dingers and running the fastest home run trot I’ve ever seen, and good luck at Maine! Trystany and Winnie, the outfield is yours now, you amaze me with every catch and I know you’ll do big things. Sereena and Maddie, every day I am amazed by your hard work and great mindsets, I can’t wait to see what you’ll do! Alana, try not to get hurt next year ok? I’m running low in bubble wrap! Claire, it’s your turn to take charge of the field and there is no doubt in my mind that you’ll be a great leader. To my little freshman, Ella, Haley, Megan, and Brooke, enjoy every minute of high school sports because you never know when it will be over. Walk into every game, practice, and team event with one goal: to have fun. Good luck next year!”

Thank Yous

  • “To my coaches; Dee, thank you for always encouraging me in the outfield and shaping me into the player I am today. Coach Bruno, I will miss yelling, “Bruno” every day! I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you soon. Coach Davis, thank you for putting up with all my antics over these past few years. There really is no one else I’d rather bother with ladybugs and baby names! Can’t wait to see baby Bish in a softball uniform! I will miss you all so, so much! Good luck in the upcoming seasons.”

The Plan Moving Forward

  • “I will be attending Louisiana State University to pursue a Kinesiology degree with a minor in Spanish!’
