A year removed from its cancellation in 2020, March Madness has returned. The WP Wire will be running a school-wide bracket challenge for both the men’s and women’s tournaments, where the two winners will both receive personal features on the WP Wire website.

Sunday evening at 6:00 PM, the 68 team bracket for the NCAA Division One Men’s Basketball Championships will be revealed live on CBS. 25 hours later, on Monday night, the 64 team field for the women’s tournament will be revealed live on ESPN at 7:00 PM. If you are a West Potomac student interested in getting in on the March Madness fun, you will be able to lock in your predictions at this link for the men’s tournament challenge and this link for the women’s tournament challenge. Before submitting your brackets, make sure that you name them with your first and last name, and enter password “WP Wire” (case sensitive, same password for both links) to join the two challenges. Only one bracket can be entered per student per challenge.

NOTE: The deadline for the men’s tournament is Friday at noon and the deadline for the women’s tournament is Monday at noon.
