West Po Bests Lake Braddock, Will Face South County in Regional Championship
The West Potomac Wolverines are taking on the South County Stallions this Saturday, November 27th, at 1:00 at South County. This is the regional finals for the VHSL Class C 6th Region. West Po is coming off their second upset victory this postseason, this one against Lake Braddock on Friday night. It is the first time West Po has reached the playoffs since the 2016-2017 football season, and the regional final in decades. The Stallions, on the other hand, have had playoff experience over the last few years. They made it to States multiple times, winning in the 2019-2020 season and losing last year to Oscar Smith. The Wolverines took down the Stallions earlier this season with a score of 36-21. West Po will hope to repeat this upset on Saturday.
There won’t be any buses since the game is on a Saturday. You can get tickets at the gate. However, there is also a link to get tickets in advance. The admission fee will be five dollars for students and seven dollars for general admission. They strongly suggest purchasing tickets in advance.
