Senior Information Roundup

For seniors, this Friday the 27th is the last day of school before graduation, but there’s a lot that has to be done before putting on the cap and gown on June 3rd. This week, laptops have to be turned in. From today (the 23rd) until Wednesday (the 25th) room 131 is accepting laptop returns all day. Thursday and Friday (the 26th and 27th), there are laptop returns from 9 am to 1 pm in the aux gym. Before returning them, stickers have to be removed, laptop power cords have to be wound, and any valuable files should be uploaded to Google Drive and downloaded onto a personal computer (more information on that here).

Next week is cap and gown distribution. On Tuesday the 31st, last names A-Koj pick up. Kok-Z pickup is on Wednesday the 1st. On Thursday the 2nd, there’s an award ceremony at 9 am, and then required graduation practice is at 11:30 am at the stadium. After that, there’s a picnic at 1 pm, and a last chance for cap and gowns at 2 pm.

When asked about how it feels to be graduating soon, senior Weston Ward said, “[I feel] kind of neutral, to be honest… I’m just done with high school. That’s really all it is… I’m excited to turn in my laptop.”
