Graduation this year for West Potomac class of 2024 will be held at George Mason University’s EagleBank Arena on June 11th starting at 2PM, instead of at West Potomac. This year is the first time West Po has had a graduation ceremony at a different school. This isn’t the only school that’s holding their graduation at George Mason. All schools from Fairfax County and other neighboring counties will also have their graduation ceremonies at George Mason. Some of the seniors were excited to have graduation being held at West Po, “Having the opportunity to be at an incredibly large venue like that makes the entire graduation feels larger than life almost,” West Po Wire editor Jaylan Post said.
