Nosferatu
Nosferatu is a star-studded reimagining of the 1922 silent film Nosferatu: a Symphony of Horror. The classic film was an unauthorized adaption of the 1897 book Dracula and is considered the first vampire film ever made – generating immense anticipation for the 2024 screen adaptation to deliver. The upcoming Robert Eggers film surrounds an ancient vampire in the 19th century stalking a young woman, causing chaos as a result. The film stars renowned actors such as Willem Dafoe, Lily Rose Depp, Emma Corrin, Bill Skarsgård, Aaron Taylor Johnson, and many more.
Nosferatu is expected to be released in theaters on December 25th.
Wicked
Wicked is a live-action adaptation of Broadway’s quite popular Wicked the Musical. The movie is a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, where the wicked witch and the good witch forge an unlikely friendship. Starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, the film is bound to have riveting vocal performances. The movie is being released in two parts instead of one so that it contains all the respected songs and has a more in-depth showcase of the story.
Wicked is expected to be released in theaters on November 22nd.
Gladiator II
After hundreds of years, films surrounding Roman gladiators have stood the test of time. The first documented Quo Vadis (1913), the distinguishable Spartacus (1960), and the notorious Gladiator (2000). The upcoming movie is a sequel to the Y2K film, following Paul Mescal as a now grown-up Lucious, vengefully entering the Colosseum to restore honor to the people of Rome. Many Gladiator I alumni return to the screen, as well as some newer familiar faces such as Pedro Pascal, Denzel Washington, Joseph Quinn, Barry Kehogan, and Matt Lucas.
Gladiator II is expected to be released in theaters on November 22nd.
