Kai Phipps, Contributor

Kai Phipps is a freshman at West Po. He has always had a passion for ice hockey, as even from a young age he proclaimed that his career path would follow either becoming a lawyer or playing hockey like his biggest influence, Alex Ovechkin, left wing of the Washington Capitals. Although he has on the outside what would appear as an extremely exciting upbringing, living in Singapore for five years, he says that if there were ever to be made a movie about his life, it would not sell. If Kai could live in any other decade besides his own, he would choose to live in the 1970s. If there were one thing Kai would want to be remembered as, it would be that he was “fun but not stupid.”
