Mahaley Cassady, Class of 2017 – "I'm so glad to not be a part of Academic Advising anymore. It was such a stressful time as a freshman, sophomore, and junior, and now I'm a senior and get to pick my college classes. I'm very happy that it's over." Lauryn Thomas, Class of 2017 – "For juniors, I would suggest you take not-so-hard classes because your senior year you’re already going to be focused on applications and college stuff, so I would take not easy classes but stuff that’s not super duper challenging so you don’t stress out too much. But also, take Dental careers because it's a really fun class and you come out with a certificate so you can have a nice job as soon as you graduate." Jorge Perez, Class of 2017 – If you’re going to choose a class or a course, you should do what you really want and my advice would be if you want to be a doctor or a mechanic, choose an academy class because that would really help you on in life; it gets you some hands-on experience.” Perez says that in previous grades when he was unsure of classes to take, he would turn to his friends in grades above him for advice. Brandon Craig, Class of 2017 "Personally I like Gourmet Foods because you get to make food and the class is really easy to take. It doesn’t really take any effort to get a good grade in it. If you like food, take Gourmet Foods. It's an easy credit and its' a good way to learn how to cook." A photo posted by Humans of West Potomac (@humansofwestpo) on Jan 14, 2017 at 1:10pm PST
