Carter Ver Hage is a sophomore at West Potomac High School and in his first year of Journalism. He joined Journalism because he enjoys writing articles and he would like to have a voice in the school. Carter’s main academic strength is English. “I think I am very attentive, which makes me think English is my main strength.” Carter is motivated by the prospect of getting a good job which makes him passionate about doing well in school, as well as sports, such as soccer.

Outside of school, Carter enjoy playing sports, XBOX, and watching movies like his favorite, “Grown Ups 2”. Carter also enjoys watching basketball, and is a proud Boston Celtics fan.  3 people Ver Hage wants to meet are Lionel Messi, Lebron James, and Seth MacFarlane.
