Senior Art Show Taking Place in the Library
Running from April 21 to the 28th, there is a Senior Art Show taking place in the library. The art show showcases different works of visual art created by seniors right here at West Po. All the works of art featured have some sort of personal significance to their creators. Senior Phylicia Pham cites the outdoor world as an inspiration for her works, stating: “I’ve always had a connection to nature since I was little as I would help my mom in the garden. Nature and flowers play a huge part in my life and fill the memories that I have of growing up.” Her art displays themes of nature and storybook imagery to evoke nostalgia. If you’re interested and have the time, please stop by to support these local artists. There will also be a reception taking place in the library on April 28, from 5-7 PM. We hope to see you there!
