With a new single followed by a new album featuring 12 new songs, Harry Styles is officially back. “Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally” is the title of Styles’ new album, released to billions on March 6th. “American Girls”, “Ready, Steady Go!” and “Aperture” are currently the biggest hits on the album. On the first day of its release, the album received over 60 million streams on Spotify.
Styles kicked off his return with a one night only concert in Manchester, England, performing all of his new songs along with a few of his fan favorites such as “From the Dining Table.” As he walked on stage that night, fans expressed excitement that Styles had returned.
After wrapping up his nearly two year tour titled “Love on Tour,” Styles went into the shadows for a bit. Some fans believe the break was longer than expected following the passing of his former band member and friend, Liam Payne.
“He was on tour for so long and ever since then, I’ve been waiting for the next album to drop,” senior, Lucy Ferguson, said.
Styles’ return to the music industry meant a lot to his fans. Not only do they love and admire his music, Styles inspires people left and right.
“I like how unique he is as an artist. He’s not scared to defy gender norms,” Ferguson said.
Styles has also made an appearance beyond music platforms with the release of a new film on Netflix titled Harry Styles: One Night in Manchester. The film gives fans who could not attend the concert a chance to experience the performance from home.
Styles has created lots of noise with the album “Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally.” As fans listen to the last song, many are already looking ahead and wondering when the next album will arrive.
