West Po student tutors Elementary schools students at Stratford Landing Elementary school.
Julia Himes, a junior, introduced an interesting new program to West Po called the Learning Link. The program gives students the opportunity to visit schools such as Stratford landing and help out teachers in the classroom. That could mean helping the kids with an assignment they are working on or making sure that they stay on task. They meet every Wednesday and visit Stratford from 3 to 4. Julia is the founder of the program and coordinated everything with the school beforehand to set up this learning experience.
