NeeDohs are quickly taking over West Po. A fun squishy toy that was created in 2018 has been spotted in students’ hands and backpacks.
Stress toys have been proven to help with anxiety levels. NeeDohs are just one of the many out there, but one of the most popular.
Freshman Rosie Fisher said, “I love having something to fidget with in school. I play with all my friends in every class.”
These colorful stress balls are being spread across multiple social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, finding its way into people’s shopping carts.
“I’ve spent so much money on them. It’s my favorite purchase,” sophomore Hayden Tipton said.
There are a ton of different shapes, sizes, and colors to choose from. The most popular at West Po seem to be the Nice Cubes. These little squishy ice cubes have become very popular with the students, as well as some teachers. Collecting NeeDohs is now a new hobby for many, with some students’ collections piling up with stress balls.
Freshman Charlotte Robinnette said, “My teachers love my NeeDoh. It’s quiet and helps me calm down in stressful classrooms.”
