Open 10 AM-6PM, Cost- varies, regular admission is $15

Cox Farms holds its annual Fall Festival, a family-friendly event with many activities for adults and kids alike. The Festival sports seven large slides spread out along the grounds, including volcano- and shark-themed rides. Cox Farms allows you to live the farm life by playing and petting farm animals and doing farm chores. The Festival brings back its famous Cornundrum, a vast corn maze with surprises and excitement such as caves and jungles around every turn. After a long day of fun, Cox Farms allows you to get taste of fall with their selection of locally produced foods like BBQ smoked on the fairgrounds and pies made from apples right off of the tree. http://www.coxfarms.com

Open 10 AM-5PM, Cost- Free for military, $5 kids and $10 adults

Great Country Farm allows you to fill your day with fun with their seemingly endless activities like wagon rides, fishing, mazes and much more. Great Country Farm is most famous for their “Pick Your Own and Farm Market,” which allows attendees to pick and buy fresh and delicious produce such as apples, pumpkins, and assortments of other veggies. http://greatcountryfarms.com

Open 9 AM-6PM (Check website for specific dates and times), Cost- pay for what you pick

Homestead farms allows you to enjoy the freshness of local produce. Bring your kids to this farm and pick your own delicious produce, including strawberries, cherries, apples, pumpkins, and blueberries.

 

Pumpkin Village Fall Festival– 19270 James Monroe Hwy Leesburg, VA 20175

Skyline Drive– Shenandoah National Park

Open- 24/7 Cost- Free

Skyline Drive is a postcard-picture view and all you need is a car. Travel along the 105 miles of Shenandoah National Park and enjoy the autumn leaves and brisk fall breeze. Enjoy the Shenandoah wildlife such as wild bear, deer, and turkey. You can bring most motor vehicles and glide down the road on a relaxing fall trip.
