What You Need to Know About Carrie the Musical

What+You+Need+to+Know+About+Carrie+the+Musical

West Po Wolverines: Carrie the Musical is a new show developed by the West Po theater department “Beyond the Page”, which will be shown from October 26th to November 4th. It is a theater adaptation of the 1974 Stephen King horror novel, Carrie, about a socially awkward teenage girl named Carrie White with psychic powers living a very lonely life with a controlling hyper-religious mother and popular kids bullying her to no end. The book is a dark psychological horror that has been critically acclaimed for many years since its release. It got a film adaptation in 1976 which was reviewed positively, and a disastrous flop of a musical on Broadway in 1988. The musical brought by the WPHS theater department will be based on that Broadway version. The list of the actors playing in the Carrie show was posted on Instagram on October 12th:
