Beyond the Page, West Potomac’s company, will present “Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” for its winter play beginning February 1 – 10 in Kogelman Theatre. West Po’s rendition of the play is based on the 2003 book that follows  a gifted fifteen year old, John Francis Boone [played by Basleel Dlanessa], when he stumbles upon the gruesome body of Wellington, his neighbor’s dog, on their front lawn one night, which begins the investigation of the dog’s murder.

“The entire cast is very hardworking and committed to the part, it’s amazing,” said Violet Boyd [Ensemble cast member]

“It’s very exciting to see this show come together and  all the hard work put into the acting, costumes and props It’s  very full circle,” added a crew member.

The play opens on February 1 and closes on the 10th at the Kogelman Theatre located at West Potomac. Tickets are on sale at Westpotomactheater.org.
