Mr O’Farrell and Mr Carfang have been working to organize a series of guest speakers to inspire West Potomac students during this global pandemic. They have planned for speakers to talk every Monday and on Teacher workdays, starting March 1st and continuing into spring.

On March 1st,  the first guest speaker will be Brady Dalton Richards, an actor who was set to star as Scorpius Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway. Shortly before his debut, the pandemic hit New York and Broadway had been closed down since. Richards will cover his journey to the stage and how he has dealt with the pandemic. 

The guiding question for these speeches is “How did you get to where you are today and what is your experience during a global pandemic?” The speakers come from a variety of backgrounds and career fields.
